FAQ
DO THEY BITE?
Anything with teeth can bite! Honestly, most people are bitten by their pet cats or puppies on a regular basis and don't bat an eye. We take extra precautions to ensure the safety of both our audience and our pets. We only allow interaction with animals that have been well socialized. Follow our instructions during our event and the risk of an accident is extremely low. Also we love our furry friends too. And we do actually own a dog and cat. But the probability and damage of a dog or cat bite is much higher. Just saying!
ARE THEY VENOMOUS?
We really aren't those type of thrill seekers. But it is safer than owning a tiger or bear. We do not have any pets with medically significant venom. While we would love to own something as beautiful as a Blue Insularis, Rhino Viper, or Gaboon Viper, the risk isn't worth the reward for us. And we definitely wouldn't pass that kind of risk on to our audience. Oh, and if you're worried about it being poisonous, just don't eat it.
WHAT ANIMALS WILL YOU BRING?
We try to select our animals based on the demographics of our audience, the health of our animals, and the state and local ordnances. We do accept request for specific animals and will do our best to honor these request, but there is no guarantee of availability. Depending on the length of the event we will bring 5 - 15 various species.
WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We understand that life can be unpredictable. We will issue full refunds for cancellations more than 48 hours prior to your event. A 50% refund will be issued if the event is cancelled 24-48 hours before your event. No refunds issued for same day cancellations. In the event of illness, severe weather, or other emergencies we will do our best to reschedule. We're flexible! Please reach out to us if you have any issues with the date of your event.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
We are covered by a commercial liability policy which can be extended to your organization (school, library, etc) at no extra cost. Details can be provided upon request.
CAN I HOLD/TAKE PICTURES WITH YOUR ANIMALS?
Yes, but with a few guidelines. Our smaller animals can be handled by all ages under the direct supervision of our staff. Children will not be allowed to hold our larger animals. They are able to approach and pet the animals while we hold them. Do not attempt to pet the animal's head. Audience members 16+ will be allowed to hold the lower body of larger animals while we are in control of the upper body/head. For privacy reasons, we will not take pictures of your children during our shows. But feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and tag us online!
